My name is Mark Byrne and I would like you to vote for me and other Libertarians on your ballot this November. If you believe you know how to run your own life better than the politicians - vote Libertarian.

For those of you not yet familar with the Libertarian Party we are the 3rd largest party in the country and offer you a chance to vote for real change in government. We are people like you who have come to the conclusion that the Democrats and Replublicans have lost their way and no longer represent our views. 

As the Democratic and Republican Leaders agree on most issues these issues and policies no longer get debated. Most Americans disagree with the Democrats and Republicans on those issues. One example is that both the Democrats and Republicans continue to support spending our hard earned money to defend other countries like Japan, Germany and Tawain. This drives up the cost of making products in the United States while helping those countries keep their manufacture costs low. It is common sense to charge those countries for the USA to provide their defense.  We should not give away a product we make better than anyone else. 

Another example is the billions of dollars in pork barrel or earmark spending that both Democrats and Republicans continue to vote for when they are added to bills. Libertarian candidates such as myself will vote NO on every spending bill that contains an earmark or pork barrel project. We will continue to vote no until the Republicans and Democrats stop adding wasteful spending and special favors to important bills. I will not be intimidated by Democratic or Republican candidates who will run ads saying I voted no on the "save the children" bill.  I trust the voters to understand that the only way to stop politicians from abusing their power and wasting money is to stop voting in favor of it.  Libertarians support proposals such as the Read The Bills Act and Single Subject Bills Act being proposed by DownsizeDC.
